I have an 8 GB Lightscribe Echo Smart Pen that I would like to install on my XP 64 bit sp2 system. I'm having problems in Echo Lightscribe install and an error of "XP could not install" message. Is there another way for it to install like the command line or something? Please help. Thanks.

Well I guess you are in trouble, because Echo Livescribe does not have support for windows XP SP2 instead a higher service pack will help. So here I guess you need to upgrade your Operating system. Yes if you read the tech specifications clearly you will come to know that the software supports windows XP sp3 or higher versions.

From what I know, you could very well install and use Echo Livescribe in Windows XP SP2.Â
All you have to do is to install Echo Livescribe Smart Pen software using Administrator rights. After installing you should try to run the application "As Administrator", it should work perfectly.
