I have the Microsoft Live Search or Bing search bar add-in installed on my Firefox browser. Why is it that when I use the Bing Search bar, I always get the error "page cannot be displayed"? It works fine when I use Google or Yahoo. I use Mozilla Firefox 20.0.2.
First of all, you will need to reset Firefox internet settings. After that, you will need to test the issue by disabling add-ons, removing the search provider and then re-adding it. You can also try to boot your computer in safe mode with networking and see if that will resolve the issue.

In my opinion, Google is much better and always will be. Â Don't use it because Bing has full of spyware, the Bing toolbar is jam packed with many malware and adware slows your computer down. Â So I suggest that you should take it out from your browser. Â If you're already using it, the only way to get rid of slowing down your system is to reformat it. If you just remove it on your browser, its rootkit will still remain and spread within your system unit.
