Hello,

The progress bar on the monitor approaches completion during boot-up but I can’t seem to access Windows after that. What should I do?

Need a solution. Thanks in advance.

Try repairing your computer (but you must have a installer of your window) First insert the bootable CD on your system and go to your bios setting and set the first boot priority is your CD ROM/ DVD ROM drive after apply the settings and restart your computer and then wait your "press any key" press any key and then wait for it to load and after loading you will see a repair option but if that will not work consider reformatting your computer (but first back up your files first before doing this but if there are no important files your system just go on and proceed on the format).

If Windows is still inaccessible after the progress bar has finished, try booting your computer using the last known good configuration. I also experienced this from time to time and I’m really not sure why this happens because in my case, I make sure the computer shuts down properly during the night. I think the user configuration file that the computer stores specific to you may be corrupted and the backup can fix it.

To begin, restart your computer then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In the Advanced Options Menu, select “Last known good configuration [your most recent settings that worked]” then hit Enter twice. It will restart your computer again and this time your machine should boot normally and Windows is now accessible. To minimize this issue from happening frequently, make sure you close all applications before shutting down the computer.
