I have a problem with my offline address book. It fails to update my changed contacts. This problem I have confirmed is only experienced by my Outbook since a quick check on another computer shows that the contact information ha been updated.
The cache mode is also have a problem and even the deleted .oab file did not go away and instead were retained. Recreating a new Outlook profile too failed. What should I do to correct this problem?
Please help if you have any idea.

To solve the problem that you have, we must consider a couple of solutions.
First, remove Outlook and all it`s content from your computer, because it may be contaminated. Get the version of Outlook and the other tools from the other computer you checked in and simply paste them in your system(or do a full reinstall of all of the tools).
Run a deep computer scan and delete all files that are contaminated.
If all of this does not work, it could be a Windows problem that is affecting Outlook. Wish you luck in solving this,
