I have installed Server 2008 in my Computer. I need to execute virtual machine as I have only one computer. I have installed and set up DCPROMO to set up the role of DC. I have added hyper-v role after the reboot. It was using virtual network which was created automatically. I have installed VHD and created virtual machine.
I have installed the operating system from DVD. It looks like everything is fine. However, when I am click to start it an error message is displayed. The message displayed is ‘It is failed to initiate the virtual machine. I have set up the BIOS to activate the virtualization.
Please help me to get out of this problem.

Before we start,
Please check where the virtual machine is trying to run.
Including this:
a. Access to the configuration, Image, and memory files
b. Message on the event log.
c. Available RAM on your system
d. Disk space
If there are no problems (a,b,c,d) try to start the virtual machine again.
If there is still an error or the same error pop out again, do the following steps.
1. Restart the VMMS service.
2. Restart the VMMS using the Service Manager.
3. In the hyper-V manager click the server that you want to stop the service, now choose action and then Click stop service.
4. Click “action” and then start service.
To restart the VMMS service using Command prompt.
1. Open a command prompt from the computer that stopped service and then type this
“ net stop nvpswmi”
2. If the service is not running this error will pop out “The Hyper-V Networking Management service is not started.”
If the problem still there use power shell to restart the VMMS.
1. Again Open a command prompt that stopped service and type this:
“ C:PS>restart-service vmms
