I can’t remove my Avira Free Antivirus because in the middle of the process, I get an Avira Setup error:

Why does it say another uninstall setup is already running?

Hello Annelforth,
To resolve that issue, you will need to make sure that you do not have another instance of Avira antivirus open on your computer. You will need to do the following:

Press Ctrl + Alt + Del on your computer.

Click on Start Task Manager.

In the task manager window, go to processes and then end all Avira processes that may be running.

After that reboot the computer.
You can go to the control panel and then try uninstalling Avira after that and see if it will uninstall successfully. It should hopefully uninstall without an issue this time round.
