I experienced a fatal error last Wednesday. I proceeded to investigate the source of the error and found the event viewer log file for the error which I have posted below.
It says that the source is the SChannel which is a security channel according.
The following fatal alert was generated 48 The internal error state is 552

An error like the one you are getting sometimes occurs immediately following the installation of a new Metro app. Such errors also are always preceded by a couple seconds by the following information level event: "The Software Protection service entered the running state."Â
The problem is more likely to be with SP.

 The message indicates the computer received an SSL fatal alert message from the server.
 It may happen when you try to install third party software.
Solution:
1] Try managing SSL for Client Access Server
2] Check settings for SSL server
3] Check whether you have set up SSL server very well.
These things should solve your problem.
