Hi to everyone,

I downloaded amiga cursors for windows.

After I installed the amiga cursor it was not working and doesn’t take effect in my mouse pointer cursor.

What should I do now?

The installation process is successful, how come it does not take effect?

I hope you can explain the main reason.

Hi Chloe,

After Downloading Amiga cursor, these steps should be considered:

  • Cut and paste the folder into My Computer > Program files C: / > Windows > Cursors then exit.
  • On the Desktop, click Start > Control panel > Classic View > Mouse
  • At the bottom middle part above the "ok" button click browse.
  • locate the Amiga cursor in the Windows folder under Program files C: /
  • Select any cursor that you want. (Only cursor in .ani format will work)
  • After selecting, click "ok"

And that's it!

Uninstall the “Amiga cursors” by going to the “add or remove programs” which is present in the Control Panel.

Select the software i.e. “Amiga cursors” and click uninstall/change and follow the guided procedure.

After that, install the “Amiga cursors” software again, this will solve the problem.

If this didn’t solve the problem, there must a compatibility issue with the windows version/ operating system you are using.
