Hello Claudia,

First of all, you need to make sure that your Operating system is compatible with foxpro 2.6. Check this link to check the compatibility:

You need to install foxpro 2.6 in compatibility mode if it is not compatible. Please do the following:

  • Right click setup.exe or installer.exe
  • And from menu, search for properties and then compatibility.
  • Choose the windows that you are using right now (Windows 7/XP/Vista)
  • And then run the program in compatibility mode.
  • Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

I hope it helps. Have a nice day.

Hello there! Your foxpro 2.6 programs is not running due to some things in your computer that is not set up properly. First, clean up your temp files and other folders that is filled up with waste resources. Too many of these can cause problems you know. Then, check if you have sufficient rights to the temp files directory and delete all the Foxuser files you can find like for example foxuser.dbf and foxuser.fpt. It is fine to delete these because it will be recreated automatically. Finally, add the following lines to config.pf or config.fpw:

EXCLUSIVE=OFF

RESOURCE=OFF

Good Luck to you! Hope this helps!
