I can’t run Adobe After Effects CS4 version

I downloaded Adobe After effects CS4 version for Macintosh from the Adobe website into my Toshiba laptop.

I followed the download instructions to the latter with the plug-ins folder meant for After Effects containing the 64-bit plug-in.

Whenever I try to open the After Effects, I get the following error.

Someone help me out.

After Effects warning: there are multiple copies of plug-in “Twitch” on your drive.

To avoid problems, quit After Effects and move or delete the older or unneeded version(s).

Be sure to uninstall all the previous version of Adobe After Effect CS4.

Uninstalling it using Control Panel.

You can do this by clicking Start  > Control Panel  > Programs (if you are using Win 7 or Vista), or Start  > Control Panel  > Add/ Remove Programs (when using Windows XP).

Remove or Uninstall the previous version of After Effects.

Be sure you have log in as Admin or have an Administrative Rights if you log in as user.

1. Close Adobe After Effects CS4

2. Go to these locations on your Mac

/Applications/Adobe After Effects CS4/Plug-ins/

/Applications/Adobe After Effects CS4/Presets/

and delete all files and folders there that are related to the Twitch plug-in.

3. Start Adobe After Effects CS4 – everything should work fine now
