Hello,
I was doing a project for school and I saved various files for that project both in my computer and in my flash disk. However, recently I tried to open the files from the file menu on my computer and got the error message below. Could someone help me out please as I need to finish up my project urgently.
After Effects error: making the file reference — file not found (-43) (3:: 159)

Don't worry about this problem, when I read the error message, I understand that the file you try to open is a shortcut of another file and it does not open as the original file not found.  It may be deleted, so search for it at the recycle bin and restore it or it may be in another place in the hard drives.
I hope you can open the file and complete your project successfully at the time determined.

I can’t open files saved in my computer
Looks like your file deleted or lost something, Try to recycled it or found it, If not simply run a file recovery software and enter file name and recover it. That’s so easy.
