I cannot open local disk d. It says do you want to format it now?

Is it really a must to format it now?

Can I recover all my files after reformatting?

What will happen after reformatting?

That is why it is always important to have a duplicate drive in order to have a spare set of all of your important files.

Solution 1: You can try disk checking it first before doing anything silly with it. It is possible that it can fix the error on the disk that's causing it to ask you to reformat it.

Solution 2: Attach it to other computers it might be able to detect it then backup all of your file's from it then reformat your disk.

Solution 3: If there is nothing you can do, then you have no choice but to forcefully reformat it. Then use a recovery software to see if you can still backup the deleted files in your hard disk.

Hope this helps you with your problem. Remember to search for the internet for a good file recovery software.

Any Electronic devices (as Laptops, Mobiles) consist of various electrical elements inside.

So when we use them for a long time all aliment becomes heat because power continues flows within them.
