I am using windows 7 and I can't see the thumbnails of my photo when I'm viewing it in the images gallery. I can only see file name and default photo thumbnail like this.
How can I make the thumbnail of my photos appear?

Have you tried checking on your Folder and Search Options? Try to check your view options first and see if the “Always show icons, never thumbnails” is checked. Uncheck the box so that so you can view images in thumbnails, not icons.
Also the file icon size must be large enough for the thumbnails to show. I suggest you change the size of your thumbnails smaller icons only show the generic icon view.
NOTE : Make sure you apply the changes to all folders not just your subfolders.
