Hyper-V is a task in Windows Server® 2008 and Windows Server® 2008 R2.
 
Hyper-V provides you with the tools and services you can use to create a virtualized server-computing environment. Hyper-V will provide instructions for installing this role and configuring a virtual machine.
 
Hyper-V has specific requirements is an x64-based processor, hardware-assisted virtualization, and hardware data execution prevention (DEP). 
 
 
Click Start, then click on Server Manager, then click on Add Roles from Server Manager main window, and then click on Hyper-V.
 
Now click on more network adapters from Create Virtual Networks page if you want to make their network connection available to virtual machines.
 
On the Confirm Installation Selections page, click Install.
 
The computer must be rebooting to complete the installation. 
 
Now log on with the same account, which you used to install the role. After Resume, the Configuration Wizard completes the installation, click Close to finish the wizard.
