HTML code appears whenever I try to access the User Account applet

I have a Windows XP machine on my Laptop. I week ago I Access User Account applet to add more users for my brother and sisters add some pictures and their desired password for each account. I Have created a total of 4 accounts with password.

I try to login each account and everything was fine.

Recently my sister forgot her password and wont able to login to her account. We try any possible combination but failed in the end. So I decided to just delete the account I’ve created and create a new.

Again I open the User Account applet but an error appears. Whenever I attempt to open the User Account applet in the Control panel the User dialog pops up, but the page is empty or filled with raw HTML code. Also, the menu option is missing sometimes.

The raw HTML code the appears whenever I try to access the User Account applet

Hello Alieen,

As far I have seen your error in here, it shows that you have some javascript codes in here. Now first ensure that you’re all the codes are perfect and then be sure that all the tags are also ok. Now found a convenient result that is pretty simple. Download VBScript named useraccfix.vbs. Now run this program by double clicking on it. And it will show a pop up box and it will show that “ it fixed the HTA settings”.

I hope it will be ok if my assumption about your problem is right.

Thank you,

Riley weaver.
