Hi, recently I have tried pinging HSBC America website using our server and the website. There is a error occurring in sametime server hsbcAt the same time my friend is trying pinging HSBC Srilanka website using our server. But there is an error occurred and unable to ping. Please help to solve this problem.

The pinging syntax is-
ping www.websitename.com or
ping ip-address
The error could be occurring because
1) There could be a network problem with your server, contact your host to resolve the issue.
2) Your ip-address could have been blocked by HSBC.
3)You are not using the right ip-address or website-name to ping.
If you are pinging a site to check your server connectivity, then use a popular site.

The reason for this is that the country from which you are trying to ping the server may be blocked or the IP address/URL you tried to enter was incorrect. To continuously ping a s server the command is ping -t www.websitename.com. Some popular websites to test your connectivity with are the following.
Ping -t www.yahoo.com
Ping -t www.google.com
