Hi,

I received an error message,  while I was trying to scan to PDF (image of error), but it said to reinstall the software again.

So then I uninstalled and again reinstalled the software but I am getting an error message.

The procedure of the installation start but after that I am getting this error message:

"E:setuphpzprl01.exe" -m preloadrecoverymechanism "-*" ". autorun_network…

The system cannot find the path specified.

Please give me a solution.

Thanks a lot.

Your problem is with your installer. If you are installing the application for your HP Officejet J6400 from a CD or DVD disc, maybe your optical drive can not read the disc that is why you are getting the cannot find the path specified error. If this is the case, there are only 2 possible causes for this problem. First is that the lens of your optical drive or your CD/DVD drive is already dirty.

For the optical drive to be able to read a disc again, you just need to clean its lens using any lens cleaner. You can also use the lens cleaner that is usually used on VCD or DVD players. They are all the same. Second is that the installer disc that you have for your HP Officejet J6400 is probably dirty.

You can clean it by wiping its surface slowly and with care in a circular motion using a tissue or with a very smooth cloth. Avoid applying pressure while wiping the surface.

You may try installing the application again.
