I have an HP monitor that always says “going to sleep” whenever I turn on the computer. I don’t know what the problem of it is. I think my computer is working fine, maybe the monitor is the problem. What should I do to fix this?

Hi

First of all you may unplug the monitor connector from VGA of computer system. Open the System Unit casing and pull out VGA card from the port you having. Clean the Connector wires of VGA with soft cotton or with rubber so that it removes all the dust captured in it, then place the VGA in port and plug in the Monitor Cable in it. Check monitor settings.
Turn on the computer. If you have LCD then it takes 2 minutes or less to awake up for display. Check out the LED of your monitor. If it turns into green,  it shows display of your computer.
After booting the computer, do as follows;
1. Go to control panel.
2. Go into "Power Options".
3. On the left side of your screen click "change when computer sleeps".
4. Select the "change plan settings."
5. Restart the system and then i sure your problem will be solved.

enjoy..
