I have an HP laptop with window 8 on it, last night I tried to transfer a file from my laptop to my mobile but when I searched for Bluetooth option I didn’t find it. The device manager however shows drivers installed for Bluetooth.
Is any software required for this?
Please help me!
HP laptop with Window 8, Bluetooth not detected
Paul
Even the driver is already there maybe it is deactivated:
Do the following:
1. Press the Windows +W Key
2. Type in Bluetooth in the search box
3. Click on "Change Bluetooth Settings" on the menu that comes up
4. On the pop-up message, be sure that the box next to show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area is checked
SHOTSCREEN-OF-THE-SETTINGS-MENU
5. The Bluetooth icon should appear in the notification Area. Also check that the Wireless communication is turned on
Hope this helps
