When I power on my Laptop, it gives beeping sounds continuously, multiple long and short beeps occur. I checked the graphics card and RAM they seem fine, is it something with mother board? If yes how can I resolve it? I am frustrated with these sounds. Please suggest some solutions to resolve.

Hi Dawn Knof,

I am sorry to hear you are having these problems.

Since you have checked your RAM and motherboard and they are ok then I will advise you of some other possible causes and solutions.

It seems you  are a little tech savvy, you have to ensure that all the RAM cards are seated firmly and properly in their slots.

Following the steps i will outline require some technical knowledge and expertise.

The problem could lie in your  keyboard. As the components of your computer age, there are tell tale signs of their eminent failure.

When the laptop's keyboard fails the keys on it will start going off without human intervention as soon as the PC is turned on.

This will result in constant beeps of various lengths during the booting process.

In order for this to be resolved the keyboard needs replacement. If you have a spare keyboard handy, you could try replacing yours to see if the trouble lies there.

As stated earlier, this requires technical knowledge and expertise.

To minimize the risk of damage and injury I would suggest you bring in your unit to a computer repair shop for further assessment.

Thank you
