Hi techyv;

My HP desktop D1300 series printer is not working properly. When I send print command printer’s resume light keep blinking but not starts printing.

I checked ink cartridge and put them back in printer. I have checked data cable also, but lights are still flashing. It printed perfectly a few days ago. What is this problem? And what should I do?

Please help me. Thanks.

You already checked the data cable if it is properly connected but you did not check if it is really working or not. But first try to do a test print on your printer. This will determine if your printer is really working. Read the printer’s manual for the information on how to do a test print on the device. If the test print is successful then the device is not broken.

The data that was supposed to be sent by the computer to the printer was not able to reach the device that’s why it just keeps on blinking. Try replacing the data cable used by the printer it might be broken from the inside.

But on the other hand, if the test print failed then you need to bring the device to a qualified technician to determine its problem.
