I keep seeing advertisements for HP with a person holding a tablet . Is HP reintroducing a tablet product or am I just seeing old advertisements.

I just clarify you that it is not old advertisement. HP will come up with new tablets but it is not for normal users, it just designed for aiming business man not like normal folks you and me. So it is not happy news for us. But we hope that immediately HP will come back and turn a tremendous laptop for us. Thanks.

you are right about HP's new tablet. HP will be will bring Intel and ARM devices. HP tablets are readied for commercial release include two designs based on Intel's next-generation Atom processor and another using a Qualcomm ARM processor.

Yes, there is. It is the Slate 8 Tablet powered by Windows. However, this will be for the enterprise market and not for the consumer. Rumor has it that this new tablet will be a 10-inch device that will own an Intel Core i5 with an x86 chipset.
By the looks of the new commercial, the back casing of the upcoming tablet will be aluminum-like with a black strip on top (this form-factor looks familiar to you, I bet?)
Though still not confirmed, there are reports that HP has another tablet project for the consumer market which will be powered by a Qualcomm processor.
