Hi there,

Recently I bought this HP 3D Drive Guard and I have some problems installing the driver. At that moment it wasn’t really necessary to me so I skipped the install. Now I need and this version of driver I guess is not good. I can’t find an update or any advices about how can this error be solved. Please tell how can I do this? Is any update available and please tell from where it can be downloaded?

Thanks!

There is actually no problem installing the application on Microsoft Windows XP because it is fully supported unless you have a different version designed for a different operating system then you really can’t install it. Make sure the version you have supports or designed for Microsoft Windows XP. To make sure you have the correct version, download HP 3D DriveGuard for Windows XP.

It supports Windows XP [Professional, Home, or Tablet PC]. For users with later operating systems, download HP 3D DriveGuard. This version is for Windows Vista [Home Premium, Home Basic, Business, Ultimate x86 only, or Enterprise] and Windows 7 [Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate, or Starter x86 only] both x86 and x64.

Since you are running Microsoft Windows XP, download the Windows XP version and it should fix the problem. In case you still encounter a problem, upgrading your operating system to Service Pack 3 might help.
