How will I remove the virus on computer?

I was using my computer then suddenly a virus popped up on my screen. It says that my computer has detected a virus and it's a harmful one. I'm trying to close it but it always comes up. I restarted my computer to see if it's going to remove and then after I restarted it, I waited for about 15 minutes before I started what I was going to do. After that it comes out again.

My Antivirus is Avira and it strongly detects the viruses but it depends on the virus and on how harmful it is before it can be cleaned or deleted from my computer.

What should I do now? How will I remove the virus?

If you are going through the cycle of detecting the virus then removing it, only to find out that after you restart it comes back, then it might be something that your Antivirus cannot handle. There are a variety of reasons for this but more likely it is because the virus may have been long infecting your files since you have noticed it. That’s why even though you deleted it once, it still comes back because there are other files infected.

You can try using another Antivirus software to check. If it still doesn’t work, then I’m afraid you are left with only one option to reformat your computer to completely remove all traces of it.

I agree with what has already been mentioned but want to add that the virus may also be hidden in the start up menu. If you are using Windows, I recommend you to call their support for Malware as they will assist you for a minimal cost if not for free.

You can find their contact numbers from their website. If you don't have much files or settings to save, I recommend that you just clean, reformat your hard drive and make sure you scan the websites you go to and programs you run, as to not to reinfect your computer again.
