Hi friends,
I want to record a song but don't know how to use garage band to do it.So I thought this can be done easily by using iMovie as I read it on web at least much simpler than using garage band. So please help me by telling me in detail how to use iMovie to make MP3.Â

Hello James,
1) In the menu bar at the top you can find the Share and select it.
2) Using QuickTime go to Export and it will bring up a Save As type dialog box. There will be a drop down menu with the Title: Export below all the file names and stuff.
3) Click on it which will show you all the possible options and then select Sound to AIFF. This will create a file for the sound of the video in .aff format.
4) You can download a converter app from the App Store convert the file from .aif to .mp3.

Firstly use quick time by sharing . Set the format to AlFF .send to itunes. Import usning mp3 from iTunes then you can covert it to mp3 or you can download a converter app from the App Store convert the file from .aif to .mp3.
