I am using Apple iPhone 4S mobile from last year, but now I want to update my iOS. I have tried many times, but finding problem in updating ios software of my 4S. Can anyone help me out how to download or install updated version of iOS software.

To update your iPhone you can use the built in "On The Air" updater which is provided with your iPhone. If this doesn't work, or you have a problem updating through your device then you can connect it to your computer and use iTunes to run the update. By updating with either method will provide you with the latest iOS for your iPhone and it is safe as the updates come directly from Apple.

Hello there Jamie! It is so easy to update your iPhone's software to iOSÂ 6.1 without connecting your iPhone to a computer and no need to run iTunes as well. First, you just need to tap Settings. Second, you need to tap General. Lastly, just tap Software Update and your iPhone will automatically download the latest software. Just make sure your iPhone has Internet access.Â
