I want to know how to update my HTC One Android version. I bought this smartphone few months ago and it was showing notification of software update to which I did no respond but nw I want to update its android version so please tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance.

There is nothing to worry if you have not updated on being notified.
Use the following steps to update your phone (
a) Back up all your data.
(b) Navigate to the Settings menu.
(c) Tap on "About phone".
(d) Here you would find the present version of the Android installed and option to do a Software update.
(e) Tap on the "Software update" and your mobile will search for the update and will ask you for permission to update.

There are many different versions of the HTC One Smartphone. There is the plain HTC One, HTC One mini, HTC One M9, HTC One VX, HTC One A9, and more. To update your HTC Smartphone to the latest ROM available, go to HTC Support Updates and look for your phone’s model.
To download the latest ROM, first, select your current carrier or network under the “Choose a carrier” dropdown list. According to the HTC support page, users of Verizon Wireless can’t download the latest ROM. But there are selected Verizon Wireless devices that can be updated using the sync manager. If you can’t find your device from the list, download the HTC Sync Manager and install it.
Try updating your Smartphone using the HTC Sync Manager.
