You can recover deleted photos and videos in Ubuntu. There are many recovery tools available on the internet to do this but not all tools recover files fully. An effective tool that can recover all the deleted photos and videos is Test disk. Follow the steps below:
1. Go to https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download and click download.
2. Save the file to your desktop. After the download completes, install it on your system.
3. Now connect the SD card to your computer. Check whether it is detected by your computer or not.
4. Run the test disk software and click recover files.
5. In the new window that appears, select the SD card and click ok.
All your deleted photos and videos will be recovered.
