How to turn off the avg gmail notifier? I am using avg antivirus for it is very effective, it detects some malicious ware software that may harm my computer registry system. But there are some instances that I have to get rid with notifications most especially when I am at work, it is very annoying.

Google notifier is in its beta right now and is automatically downloaded when you download Google Chat. To change the default settings or to turn it off follow these steps,
1. Open your Google Chat
2. Goto Settings > Notifications
3. Uncheck new email show notification
4. Save and close.
Hopefully this will solve your problem.

Hope you are fine. You can off the AVG notification by the step by step instruction given below:
See the windows bottom right corner system tray AVG icon. Click twice.
Select Tools- Advance settings.
Under the Balloon tray notification section check next the option” Display System Tray Notification”. Apply and Ok.
Now Login in to your Gmail and open an email from AVG. See down of the email and look for unsubscribe notification. Click that. It may divert you to AVG website and make confirm over there that you are not interested to receive any more email notification from AVG. Hope these 2 method will help you.
