Hi, I am facing a problem with my 2600 printer. Whenever I give it a command to print a copy, it shows an error message saying error 51023. I have asked around in different sites and forums for a solution, but I failed to solve the problem. What are the necessary things that I should check? Please tell me what I need to do to fix this problem.

How to troubleshoot a printer with error code 51023

Hi Ms. Victoriay,

In lieu of your question regarding your 2600 printer having a message saying: "error 51023", please try this simple solution:

Please turn off the power on your printer and unplug it — Wait for thirty seconds and then plug it back it. Make sure you are not using any power converters, extensions and the likes (even surge protectors). Make sure you plug it in a known working outlet. Just in case, make sure that there's nothing sharing the power outlet. Most of the time, this error is just because the printer is not getting enough power.

I hope I was able to help you in this regard,

Sincerely,

Paul Pinalb
