I have an old Lenovo laptop and a new HP Envy. I am going to donate the Lenovo to someone but I want to transfer all my iTunes stuff to the HP Envy first before I do that. Can I use iTunes to transfer the files? How? Thanks in advance for the help.

First make sure iTunes is installed in both of your computers, and they are conencted over same wifi network. Now go to File->home sharing -> Turn on home sharing. Make sure home sharing is enabled in both computers otherwise it won't work. Now enter your apple ID credentials. Now go to store->Authorize this computer in second device. Now you can go to home sharing there you will have all the libraries files of first computer. Now select files and click on Import.
Also you can do it using iTunes Match but that will cost you annual fees.
