I am using two windows computer for my work. But, my old computer has a virus and needs to be formatted. Before that, I want to save some of my files. How to transfer files from old to new computer via LAN?
This is a very fast method but can only be used if both computers are connected via the same network. If the network is wired, then the method is even faster. To do this, right click when you go to the C drive of the old computer and click on properties. In that window, click on sharing.
You will see the button of advanced sharing. Click it to see a new window. Before clicking ok, make sure that sharing is enabled in the new computer (follow the same steps). Then, click ok.
