My old hard disk is full now, so I want to transfer all my data from it to my new hard drive which is larger. How to transfer files from hard drive to hard drive?
For this, you need a computer. Once you have arranged that, to do this, you can follow two ways:
1. Your computer has 2 USB ports which are free: You can connect both the hard disks to the ports, and wait for them to open up as separate folders. Then, just select and copy all your data from first hard disk and paste it onto the other hard disk.
2. Your computer has only 1 USB ports which is free: In this case, you need some free space on the computer. Just connect the first hard disk and copy all the data to the computer. Then, remove it and connect the other hard disk and paste the data from computer to the hard disk.
If the computer is low on free space, you will have to repeat this process by copying only small amount of data in one go.
