Hi! I want to fix an .exe file and I know that any executable contains a registered Active-X .dll. The error appeared in the Active-X .dll and not in the standard .exe. Does anyone know how I can find the line that contains the error?
How to trace the error appeared in Active-X.dll?
To trace the error that appeared in the active-x .dll, you will jus have to click on start on your computer and then choose search. Choose the option for searching all files and folders, and then click on more advanced options.
You will then check the box that has 'search hidden file and folders' and thereafter enter the name of the .dll file that is missing or causing problems in the box labeled 'all or part of the file name', and then click on search. The full path location of the file will be displayed.
That is it; you will have traced the error that appeared in the active-X .dll.
Hope this helps.
