I am having trouble uninstalling this software called WinAce. It was present on the computer when I purchased it and now I cannot get rid of it. I have deleted it and quarantined my system with the help of anti-virus, but this software keeps on appearing and reappearing on my computer. Please help me get rid of this pest-like software. Uninstall WinAce 2.6.9 to free some space on your hard disk drive. You can do this by following the instructions below:
1. Close all the active programs on your computer.
2. Click Start> Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs.
3. Search for the WinAce program On the Add/Remove Program list and then right-click to it and click Uninstall.
If you already tried to uninstall WinAce through the Control Panel, you can use third-party software to completely remove WinAce. If the program seems doesn’t want to leave your computer, try scanning your computer for virus infection. Update your antivirus then perform a full system scan. You can also use a virus removal tool like Sophos. Download Sophos Virus Removal Tool and install. Once installed, start Sophos then wait for the virus signature database to get updated.
When updating is complete, click to start scanning your computer. Sophos scans everything on your computer including devices connected via USB port. When a virus is found at the end of the scan, remove it then repeat the scan over and over until it no longer detects a virus. Don’t disable your antivirus when using the tool.
