Once you have installed DNS on your computer, it is easy to configure it.

Step 1: First, Right-Click on the server in the console of DNS management, then click Configure DNS server.

Step 2: Select Create forward and reverse lookup zone, and then click next.

Step 3: After you click “yes,” select the radio button create the forward lookup zone now on the lookup zone window.

Step 4: Next, Click on desired zone that you want to create, Primary Zone in this case .

Step 5: Type the Zone Name and click Next.

Step 6: Click Next.

Step 7: Select Allow both non secure and Secure dynamic updates and then click Next in order to Continue.

Step 8: Select Yes.

Step 10: Select Primary Zone again in the Zone creating Window.

Step 11: Choose if you wish to create IPv4 or IPv6 reverse lookup zone.

Step 12: Type your network ID in the window.

Step 13: Click Next.

Step 14: Then, Select Allow both nonsecure and Secure dynamic updates and click Next.

Step 15: Select No.
