You can open the group policy editor either by using the command line or by using the Microsoft Management Console, also called the MMC.
- Command line method
- Click on start menu and enter gpedit.msc in the search box and press the enter key.
- MMC method
- To open MMC, first, click on the start menu and search MMC and press the enter key.
- Select the file menu and then click on the Add or remove snap-in option.
- After the dialog box comes, click on group policy object editor and then click add.
- Select group policy object dialog box will appear, click on browse and select the device or click on users to edit Administrator.
