How To Import Settings In Windows Server Group Policy Management?
Hello,
Please follow the following steps in the Group Policy Management Server (GPMC):
- Go to GPMC tree. Expand Group Policy Objects (GPO) node in the domain and forest to import settings.
- Right-click the GPO to select Import Settings from the menu.
- Import Settings Wizard appears. Do as per the instructions.
The Import Settings Wizard on your computer would look similar to this:

Please note:
- You can complete the process only if you have permissions on the GPO to which you need to import the settings.
- You might have to specify a migration table if you want to import operations to another forest or domain.
