Why I am not able to get the application information by MSIs? Whenever I try, it gives “the software change returned error code 0x800b0109(-2146762487) ”error message. How to fix this failure?
Every application has a security certificate which is verified by the system.
When the application fails to provide the verification, the AppEnforce.log and the AppDiscovery.log prompts this error.
The only way to avoid this fault is by providing the root certificate to the system.
Just go to Group Policy Management Editor -> Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings -> Public Key Policies and then right click on Trusted Root Certification Authorities and import the documents from by navigating to the location.
