I need to create a certificate for IIS on Windows Server or the SSL certificate. I am not so dexterous on the technical side. So, anyone is willing to help me?
How To Create A Certificate For IIS Which Is Self-signed?
SSL certificate can distribute public key, verify identity, etc. The self-signed certificate is signed by itself and is a threat to the server. To generate the IIS certificate:
- Go to IIS Manger from Administrative tools.
- Click the Server and double-click Server Certificates.
- In Actions, click Create Self-signed Certificate.
- Enter the name and end it with OK.
- The IIS self-signed certificate is created which is valid for one year.
