Hey there! A few days back, I shifted to my new house. It is a two-storey building, and the modem is set up downstairs. However, I have my working area on the first floor, and so the internet does a lot of streaming while playing anything. I can surely connect another modem using a new SSID but it would be much stressful for the devices to switch each time. Does anyone know how to connect multiple routers over a single SSID?

How To Connect Multiple Routers To Same SSID?
The following are the methods for connecting two routers:
- Using Ethernet-
- Allocate one of them as the main or base router.
- Determine which router will control the secondary network, and then place both the routers nearby.
- Now, configure the base router using the conventional method with the use of computer.
- Connect the computer to the secondary router and change the IP Address by increasing the last digit by one.
- Disable the UPnP option on the second router.
- Turn off the DHCP Server for the second router.
- Change the wireless channels: Set the channel 1-6 for the primary router and channel 11 for the secondary one.
- Place your routers and plug the Ethernet cables.
- Bridging two wireless routers-
- Check which router has the ‘bridge’ or ‘repeater’ mode capability. It will act as the secondary router.
- Configure the first router to the computer using the normal process.
- Now, connect the second router to the PC and open the configuration page.
- Enable the ‘Bridge Mode’ or ‘Repeater Mode’ from the ‘Connection Type’ menu.
- Specify the secondary router’s IP Address within the primary router’s range.
- Enter a unique SSID for each router but keep the password same.
- You can now place your secondary router anywhere in your home.
