How To Change Your IP Address Mac

To change the ip address of your Macbook, do the following:
1. Click on the apple sign on the top left of home screen
2. Click on “System preferences” from the drop down menu which opens up.
3. Click the network icon as shown in the picture below

4. You will see a list of connections on the left pane.
5. Select the active connection (it will have a green dot on it).
6. Its settings will open up.
7. Click on advanced option displayed on the end.
8. The IP address will be displayed as shown. Click on the tab labelled TCP/IP

9. In the drop down menu against “configure ivp”, select “manually”.
Then, you can enter the IP address of your choice. Click ok and it will be saved
