Hello Nevil Merlyn,

Here is the solution to disable the startup programs:

               1-  Open Run (Win + R)

              2-  Type “msconfig”

3-  Following System Configuration window will appear

                4-  Go to Startup tab

5-  Check for the ping tool name and uncheck the box.

6-  Click apply and then Ok button

7-  It will prompt for restart

                8-  Restart the computer

The same way you can disable the unwanted programs, which you don’t want on system startup.

Thanks,

Here’s my solution for programs that start with Windows. Most programs that, when installed, will automatically start with Windows have options to disable itself from starting up with Windows. But there are times you will encounter applications that don’t have options in disabling itself from starting up with the operating system.

But with the help of the nifty CCleaner, you can enable and disable an application from starting up with Windows. First, go to CCleaner Free Download and download the free version. Once installed, start CCleaner then click “Tools” on the left pane and select “Startup” on the next pane. Now, look for your ping tool on the list and click it to select.

CCleaner disable programs from startup

Next, click “Disable” to disable it from the startup group. And that’s it. Close CCleaner and restart your computer. Now, you should no longer see your ping tool starting up with Windows. If you want to convert CCleaner to Pro, download the codes and follow the instructions.
