My computer takes more time to startup. How to speed up startup process and how to disable unwanted startup programs?

Hello,

1.   Press windows key + r and go to run menu.

2.   Type word msconfig.

3.   Then go to start up tab and it will show you the current start up programs.

4.   Un-tick on unwanted programs and click ok.

5.   It will ask to restart you computer and click-on the restart now button.

Hi dear,

You may have hardware that added to the boot time activation. If there is any hardware you with not in use, you can disable them by using device manager in the control panel.

There are a lot of fonts in windows 7 load with startup. It causes to increase boot time and it’s no use. So you can delete fonts that don’t want to use. It helps you to decrease the boot time.

You can also delete unusual startup programs as below image. You should right click the program and if you don’t want it, you can delete it.

 

Some viruses can active when your computer is booting. So you should check for these kind of viruses and remove them.
