How to shorten your url
I always use twitter and I'm a fan of it. I am wondering how does twitter make shorter links. I am wondering if I can use this technique to shorten my links when promoting my blog. Is there a technique or a step to make this?
Getting shorter URL now-a-days are getting harder. Selecting just 3 letter words, or more is more difficult to own. Not unless, you wanted to pay premium just to get the URL you needed. If you are lucky enough, then you can own a URL that has fewer character on it. If you want to pay premium and willing to spend more money just to get one, then chances are you will get the shorter URL.
Most short URL is being owned by other's website owner. Hence, selecting short URL is more difficult to get. That is why, there is a big chance of getting the desired URL if you prefer using the long one's but this hard to memorized and chances are, marketing strategy will be minimized.
