Hello to all computer experts out there! I was just wondering, is there any way to shake the defragment software in a LINUX operating system?

Thanks for the answer.

I would really appreciate it.

Hello

I found a good application for you, find it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/defragfs/

But actually you don't need hard drive defragmentation on Linux since Linux doesn't make lots of fragments.

Linux mostly uses ext3 or ext4 disk formats and format is fragment-free.

So if you really want to defragment your hard drive you above application, but in real life, there is no need for that.

Regards.
