To create a new home network on Windows 7:

• Plan or decide what type of network you would like to create.
• Make sure that you have the necessary hardware and of course your ISP for internet connection
• Set up your router
• Connect the router
• Connect all your computers and devices to the network you created
• Create your homegroup or you can turn on file and printer sharing so that other computers may use those devices as well

To create your homegroup:

• Click on Start
• Go to Control Panel
• Click on Network and Internet Connections
• Choose Setup or change home or small office network
