How to go about setting up Mozilla Thunderbird as email client to receive and send mails from Gmail and Yahoo?
Can i combine two account in one?

If you want to configure your Mozilla Thunderbird as email client then you have to follow these steps.
1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
2. Click on Tools button on the upper toolbar and select Account Settings.
3. Click on email Account and then press the Next Button.
4. Now enter your g mail id and your name.
5. Now you have to select IMAP or POP according to your incoming server. Remember for POP your incoming server is pop.secureserver.net and for IMAP it is imap.secureserver.net. After selecting it, click on next button.
6. Now you have to enter the outgoing User Name and Incoming Username and select Next.
7. Enter the name of your choice and then click next button.
8. Click on finish button after the verification of your account.
9. Now you have to select the Outgoing server from the list in Account settings.
10. Change the port to 80 and type smtpout.secureserver.net in server name
11. When you try to send email for the first time. The Thunderbird will ask for your username and password. Give the Username and password and click ok to proceed.

Wow, Tunacao_Caaron1. Thanks for your detailed steps. I chose POP for my incoming server, entered my outgoing and incoming username then verified my account. I changed the port to 80 as what you'd said and type smtpout.secureserver.net. Now my Mozilla thunderbird set-up is finished.

Yes you can do that combining your account for the Mozilla Thunderbird, for example if your using Google, you have to set up the out going server information, for Gmail you need to enter smtp.gmail.com and you change your port setting to 955, after you done it just click ok and your ready to use your Mozilla Thunderbird account.
