I have created certain forms using Microsoft Office InfoPath 2010 and organized this on the IIS sever. When I open the server, the list of files open. On clicking the form, I get the option to select the program with which the file needs to be opened. How do I set browser as the default program to open the file every time I click on it? Is it possible?
How to set a default program on browser to open file
To set the browser as the default program for opening that file each time that you click on it to open you will need to use the following procedure:
You will need to locate the file and then right click on it.
And then you will choose the open with option.
In the window that will open, you will need to locate the browser from the list of programs that are listed and then click on it.
If the browser is not part of those programs, you will need to browser for it and locate it on the desktop and click on it.
Back in the open window, you will need to check the box that will make the browser be the default program to open all files in that format.
And then click open.
