How to set the calendar to open a meeting request

Hi,

I have Outlook 2003 in my computer and whenever I double click the Outlook calendar, it opens an appointment. How do I set the calendar to open a meeting request rather than an appointment on clicking on it? Is it possible? Please help. Thanks.

You can set up three types of items in your calendar,these are ;appointments,events & meetings

to set up meetings in outlook calendar,try this steps

1.on outlook ,click the calendar tab

2. Click on actions at the top of the window,and select new meeting request

3.in the text box near at "to" type the addresses of the people you want to request at the meeting

4.next type the subject of the meeting

5.next down,type the location of the meeting

6.now select the start time, and date of the meeting and also the end time and date of the meeting

7.type any additional information about your meeting

then finally click send
